Bitumen Storage Tanks

Our customers can buy from us, Bitumen Storage Tanks that are used for storing bitumen. These tanks have a flat bottom that is fitted on a steel cradle. The tank is fully insulated from inside to minimize heat losses. Bitumen stored inside the tank is heated by U-shaped heating tube, which is fitted with automatic burner of adequate capacity. A jacketed bitumen pump that is driven by DC variable speed motor bitumen through the reduction gear box is installed to pump of the bitumen drum. The bitumen f-rate of the storage tank is controlled by varying the RPM of DC motor. All the bitumen lines and the bitumen pump to and fro from the tank except valves and pipe fittings are oil-jacketed.
